Eric Hoffer Awards Announced

DocDawn's book "Mission Possible: A Missionary Doctor's Journey of Healing" received two Eric Hoffer Awards; Honorable mention inthe Legacy NonFiction category and honorable mention for the Montaigne Medal. The Eric Hoffer Award for short prose and books was established at the start of the 21st century as a means of opening a door to writing of significant merit and highlights salient writing, as well as the independent spirit of small publishers. The Montaigne Medal is given in honor of the great French philosopher Michel de Montaigne, who influenced people such as William Shakespeare, René Descartes, Ralph Waldo Emerson, Friedrich Nietzsche, Jean-Jacques Rousseau, and Eric Hoffer.
